Genshin Impact 5.4: New Character and Events Coming Next Month

Genshin Impact enthusiasts, rejoice! The much-anticipated Version 5.4 is set to launch on February 12th, bringing with it an array of exciting new content to dive into. This update introduces the enchanting Mikawa Flower Festival, where both humans and youkai are invited to partake in the festivities. The festival will be graced by the presence of Raiden Shogun, who is on a mission to unravel the mystery behind a peculiar nightmare. But don't let that distract you from the thrilling new minigames like A Little Fox's Daydream and Bunshin Phantasm. Engage in these activities to collect Festival Stamps, which you can trade for exclusive rewards, including the unique four-star polearm, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.

But the festival is just the beginning! Version 5.4 also introduces a new five-star character, Yumemizuki Mizuki. As an Anemo Catalyst user and a clinical psychologist with a stake in the Aisa Bathhouse, Mizuki brings a fresh set of skills that will enhance your team's capabilities. You can recruit her during the first half of the Event Wishes in 5.4, alongside a rerun for Sigewinne. The second half will feature reruns for Furina and Wriothesley. If you miss your chance during the event, fret not—Mizuki will be added to the Standard Wish Banner following the Version 5.5 update.

In addition to the festival and new character, Version 5.4 will enrich the game with the Travelers' Tales: Anthology Chapter, offering slice-of-life stories featuring your favorite characters. There's also the new Reel AD-Venture fishing minigame to test your skills. To make character progression smoother, the update includes new Level-Up Plans, helping you identify the necessary materials and their sources efficiently.
