As Genshin Impact enthusiasts eagerly await the 5.4 update, the current version presents an intriguing exploit that allows players to effortlessly defeat bosses, even those with massive health pools. Surprisingly, the key to this exploit lies with the Hydro Traveler, often regarded as one of the least effective damage dealers in the game.

The mechanics of this exploit are straightforward and don't require any deep dives into the game's code. Here's how it works: utilize the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and pair it with Xiao Lanterns, which players can collect during the Lantern Rite Festival. The trick is to position a specific number of Xiao Lanterns around the boss, then unleash the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst. This combination results in a dramatic reduction of the boss's health bar.

The reason behind this is that the Elemental Burst triggers additional Area of Effect (AoE) damage when it interacts with objects. With a hundred lanterns in place, the damage can skyrocket into the millions, making short work of even the toughest bosses.
