Path of Exile 2: Uncovering the Hidden Golden Idols

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces a unique challenge: collecting five Golden Idols. These aren't typical quest items; they don't appear in your quest log and aren't traded for standard quest rewards. Instead, they're valuable sellable items.

Locating the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling through a time portal, you'll find yourself in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This ancient Vaal city, at the height of its power, holds three Golden Idols. Two more are located in the connected area, Aggorat. These idols aren't randomly dropped by enemies; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Cashing In Your Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and locate Oswald in the north. He's the vendor who will buy your Golden Idols. Each Idol fetches a significant sum:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five yields a substantial 6000 Gold reward. Since they occupy inventory space and serve only as valuable commodities, it's advisable to sell them immediately after discovery.
