Take-Two Interactive's Q3 earnings call reaffirmed their target of a Fall 2025 launch for GTA 6. While CEO Strauss Zelnick acknowledged the inherent risk of delays ("slippage"), he expressed strong optimism, emphasizing Rockstar's dedication to quality. He highlighted the company's excitement and awareness of the competitive landscape.

Zelnick highlighted 2025 as a pivotal year for Take-Two, with several major releases planned: Sid Meier’s Civilization VII (Early Access launched, full release February 11th), Mafia: The Old Country (Summer release), Grand Theft Auto VI (Fall release), and Borderlands 4 (before year-end). He expressed significant confidence in the commercial success of these titles. The company projects record-breaking net bookings in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.

Addressing persistent rumors, Steven Ogg, the actor portraying Trevor in GTA 5, clarified that he doesn't dislike the character. He simply prefers not to be called by his character's name.
