Solving the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Following the Sacred Wounds puzzle and escape from the Vatican's underground, Indy uses the scroll from the Giant's tomb to locate his next objective: the Fountain of Confession.

Remember to photograph all signs, statues, and murals for Adventure Points!

Exit Antonio's office (as in the Sacred Wounds mission) and use your journal's map to find the courtyard stairs leading to the puzzle's starting point.

First, locate the chest near the fountain's construction area. Inside is the fountain key, granting access to the adjacent storage room.

Use Indy's whip to rappel to the roof, then swing to the window, returning you to the fountain's top. You'll see two dragon statues. Swing to the second statue and grab the claw to activate a lever.

Use the lever to rotate the statue to face the opposite dragon. Repeat on the other statue, noting its missing claw.

The claw is on the scaffolding below. Rappelling down triggers a cutscene with Gina Lombardi, after which you retrieve the claw.

Return to the statue, attach the claw, and rotate the statues to face each other. This rotates the ground-level fountain statue, revealing the next phase. Rappel down.

Use Indy's whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues. A lever appears; Indy and Gina activate it, revealing the first wall puzzle.

The first puzzle involves "baptizing" the smaller statue by placing the larger male statue under the water bucket, activating the water, and pushing it over the smaller statue.

Reactivate the lever for the second puzzle: guiding an angel figure across stone layers using the wall handles. Moving the angel to the right completes this part.

Finally, push the remaining central statue through the gate to activate a spiral staircase and proceed to the next area.

Congratulations! You've solved the Fountain of Confession Puzzle!
