Hades 2 Set for Exclusive Release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Hades 2 is set to make its mark on Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date remains under wraps, developer Supergiant has confirmed that fans can expect the highly anticipated sequel to launch on both PC and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as the original Switch, simultaneously later this year.

The announcement came after last week's Nintendo Direct, where it was revealed that Hades 2 would be coming to Nintendo's enhanced Switch 2. Supergiant has since clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch models but will also enjoy a period of exclusivity on Nintendo's consoles.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team stated on X/Twitter.

Although it's not yet known when Hades 2 will expand to other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, the excitement around the game continues to build.
