New Harry Potter Illustrated Edition Announced, Now Discounted
As a devoted fan of the Harry Potter series, re-reading the books is always a delightful journey back into the magical world, yet exploring the story through different mediums can offer fresh excitement. While the Harry Potter movies provide one avenue for this, the illustrated editions of the books present an even more enchanting experience. Although the full series in illustrated form is still incomplete, a new interactive edition of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is set to release in October, and it's available for preorder now.
Not to be mistaken with Jim Kay's illustrated versions, these interactive editions boast stunning illustrations along with innovative paper-engineered elements that leap off the pages. You can preorder this captivating new book from both Barnes & Noble and Amazon, with the most substantial discount currently offered by the latter.

This illustrated edition features 150 full-color illustrations and elements reminiscent of a pop-up book. The new book is illustrated by Karl James Mountford, with papercraft designs crafted by Jess Tice-Gilbert. This marks a shift in creative teams since the previous interactive illustrated editions by MinaLima, which ended with "The Prisoner of Azkaban." While the style and interactive features differ, this is exciting news for collectors eager to complete their collection.

What About the Other Illustrated Editions?
The other Harry Potter books illustrated by Jim Kay currently extend only up to the fifth book. In 2022, Kay withdrew from the project, leaving uncertainty about future editions of "The Half-Blood Prince" and "The Deathly Hallows." However, there remains hope that a new illustrator will step in to complete the series.
