Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Chaos Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a cosmic overhaul! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a galaxy of changes, updates, and brand-new features. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup and a Tavern that feels entirely reborn.

Technotavern Overdrive:

Bob's Technotavern is undergoing a major upgrade! Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets, replacing them with exciting Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll a hero option at the selection screen – perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal choices.

Reveal Schedule:

Before diving into the details, here's the reveal schedule:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes release.

What's New Beyond the Tokens?

Season 9 introduces three new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens ability. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pools, shaking up the meta.

A damage cap adjustment is coming, affecting solo Battlegrounds matches only. Early-game damage will be capped at 5, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Minion Rollout:

The full patch launches December 3rd, initially featuring Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs. Murlocs and Demons join the fray on December 5th, followed by Undead and Elementals on December 9th.
