Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes surface online, showcasing Henry Cavill's impressive performance.

Games Radar reports the discovery of these tapes on Ron South's YouTube channel, belonging to an enthusiastic filmmaker. Alongside Cavill's audition, footage from Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr has also emerged.

Cavill's audition has garnered significant attention, with many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praising his performance as "tremendous." Campbell reportedly favored Cavill, but ultimately, other executives chose Daniel Craig for the role.

Cavill later fulfilled his spy aspirations in the film Argylle, starring alongside a renowned cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite the star-studded lineup, the film received poor critical reception, scoring a mere 4/10 in IGN's review.

Cavill maintains a diverse and successful acting career, notably portraying Superman for DC, Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's The Witcher, and numerous other prominent roles.
