Herta appears familiar to Honkai: Star Rail players who've interacted with her puppet versions since launch. Unlike Fugue or Imbibitor Lunae, she retains her 4-star counterpart's Path and Element but features dramatically different gameplay. Her kit focuses on accumulating Interpretation stacks whenever allies attack, significantly boosting her damage output.

To maximize her potential, pair Herta with allies who have frequent AoE attacks, especially follow-up attacks that efficiently generate stacks.

Her bonus ability, Message From Beyond the Veil, provides allies with +80% Crit DMG when teamed with another Erudition character. This makes her ideal for dual DPS setups with synergistic Erudition partners. Below are optimized team compositions for her unique playstyle.

Lingsha provides optimal sustain with AoE follow-ups for stack generation while mitigating HP drain. Robin enhances follow-up attacks across the team while advancing turns—crucial for endgame content.
