Hyde Run: Global Release of High-Speed Endless Runner Game!
If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're undoubtedly familiar with HYDE. Known for his electrifying performances at venues like Madison Square Garden and with over 40 million records sold, HYDE is now stepping into the digital world as the star of a new endless runner game. "Hyde Run" has just launched globally, offering fans worldwide a fresh way to engage with his illustrious career.
Initially released in Japan, "Hyde Run" is now accessible to players everywhere. The game's developer and publisher, Phoenixx, aims to provide a dynamic platform for global fans to celebrate HYDE's music, packed with nods to his career milestones.
Move, Jump or Slide in Hyde Run
In "Hyde Run," you'll experience a thrilling blend of parkour action across a concert stage and the neon-lit streets of futuristic Tokyo. As HYDE, you'll navigate a high-speed chase through Neo Tokyo, skillfully dodging obstacles, wall-running past towering billboards, and collecting musical notes along the way.
The game's atmosphere is infused with the electrifying energy of a guitar solo, setting it apart from typical endless runners with its unique blend of rock music and fan-centric details. While racing through the city, you can pick up various power-ups like magnets that attract musical notes to you, or barriers that protect you from damage.
Before each run, you have the option to activate items such as Note Gain to increase your note collection, or a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles. Additionally, collecting crystals allows you to unlock exclusive outfits and room items reflecting HYDE's career, along with voice clips by unlocking the Microphone Stand.
There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do
Beyond the adrenaline-pumping runs, "Hyde Run" lets you customize HYDE's room with memorabilia spanning two decades of his career, from vintage tour gear to more obscure collectibles. Hidden items unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE, adding an intimate touch to the gaming experience.
Currently, there's a range of limited-time content available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set features HYDE in his iconic look from the music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights. For a more relaxed vibe, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a summer-festival-inspired look, while a traditional Japanese-style furniture set, complete with bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime resembling HYDE’s Edyh character, rounds out the options.
Download "Hyde Run" from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this unique celebration of HYDE's musical journey. And before you go, don't miss our next feature on the story-driven anthropomorphic adventure, "Duck Detective: The Secret Salami."
