What's New in Season 4?

This season introduces a frigid tundra habitat teeming with exciting additions:

• New Monsters: Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex make their debut. Barioth also returns, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within the Season 4 story chapters. Access to the tundra itself is unlocked after completing the prologue.

• New Weapon: The Switch Axe: This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Unleash powerful, wide-ranging attacks in Axe Mode, then switch to Sword Mode for a frenzied assault. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.

• Palico Companions: Customize your own Palico companion! Adjust fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. And for AR enthusiasts, take your Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.

• Friend Cheering: Add a collaborative element to your hunts with Friend Cheering. Send cheers to your friends for a temporary health boost (with a daily limit).
