Infinity Nikki 1.5 Update Sparks Outrage: Compensation Details Unveiled

Infinity Nikki announces compensation for version 1.5’s troubled launch. Discover what players will receive for the game’s issues and how Infold Games plans to respond.

Free Diamonds Offered as Apology
Infinity Nikki’s version 1.5 launch, highly anticipated by fans, fell short of expectations set by Infold Games. In a May 18 post on Twitter (X), the developer acknowledged the "unstable gameplay and underwhelming content" and outlined compensation plans.
The update introduced numerous technical glitches and bugs across platforms, some severe enough to make the game unplayable. Additionally, system changes increased the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11, raising the maximum pulls needed to complete a set to 220—a costly and time-intensive shift for players.

A new dye system also frustrated players, requiring individual color palette unlocks for each clothing item, adding complexity and tedium. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed as its associated outfit remains in development. Infold Games admitted, "Technical issues in version 1.5 hindered our ability to polish the Sea of Stars chapter and Threads of Reunion narrative, causing confusion."
In response to feedback, Infold Games announced, "To address version 1.5’s flaws and schedule disruptions, all players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals."
Despite the compensation, Infold Games has not detailed plans to resolve these issues, leaving fans vocal about concerns like the pity system changes, dye system flaws, and persistent bugs in the comments section.
Version 1.6 Postponed

Due to version 1.5’s troubled rollout, Infold Games extended its duration to address issues, pushing version 1.6’s release to June 12, 2025. This delay impacts in-game event schedules.
The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, is now deferred to version 1.6. Infold Games noted, "This delay ensures refined task mechanics for a better experience. Further details will follow—stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this postponement.
Additional Changes in Progress

Version 1.5’s issues extend beyond those listed, with Infold Games stating, "Unlisted adjustments are under review. Some require longer development cycles, but we’re committed to rolling them out in phases."
To enhance communication, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table, a platform for players to share feedback directly via the game’s official email (with "Table Advisor" in the subject line) or in-game Customer Service option.
Infold Games expressed "regret for unmet promises but gratitude for players’ continued support," vowing to make the game "shine brighter." Infinity Nikki is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. Check our article below for the latest game updates!
