Introducing Letterlike: Scrabble-inspired Word Game

Wordsmiths, rejoice! A new roguelike word game, Letterlike, has arrived, blending the best of Balatro and Scrabble. Prepare for a unique combination of vocabulary challenges and unpredictable roguelike gameplay – a truly novel experience!

Crafting Words in Letterlike

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.

Each game begins with a random letter selection. Your mission: create meaningful words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.

To progress, you must achieve a sufficient score by forming high-scoring words, similar to Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, so choose your words carefully!

Facing a frustrating letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but these discards are limited, requiring strategic choices.

A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.

The final round of each level introduces a twist: a special ability renders some letters worthless, yielding zero points.

Earned points and rewards can be invested in power-ups to enhance future runs. Some buffs are automatically applied, while others unlock upon reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, simplifying subsequent games.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike offers a simple, minimalist, yet engaging experience. Replay specific runs with friends using shared seeds – share your worst letter combinations and let your friends experience the same frustration!

The game is ad-free with a one-time purchase and playable offline. A free demo version is available to try before you buy. Find Letterlike on the Google Play Store and give the demo a whirl!
