Acquiring a Nintendo Switch 2 will involve entering a lottery through the My Nintendo Store. Additionally, retailers and online shops across Japan will start accepting reservations or lottery entries on April 24, depending on stock availability. To participate in the My Nintendo Store lottery, applicants must meet specific criteria by February 28, 2025: they must have logged at least 50 hours of playtime on Nintendo Switch software (excluding demo and free software) and have been subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online for a cumulative period of at least one year.
