JoJo's Bizzare Adventure Revived, Partner Acquired

KLab Inc. provides an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020 and developed in collaboration with Shengqu Games, the project faced setbacks due to partnership changes. Now, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to resume development.

After overcoming initial hurdles, the game is back on track for a global launch (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a portfolio of successful mobile titles including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

Created by Hirohiko Araki and debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, this popular series features surreal plots, supernatural elements, and epic battles, spanning storylines from vampire overlords to interdimensional conspiracies. The series has also been adapted into anime and films.

This isn't the franchise's first foray into gaming; a Super Famicom RPG launched in 1993, followed by numerous titles. Popular Android games include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
