KEMCO Launches Metro Quester: A New Mobile RPG with Hack & Slash Dungeon Exploration
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just landed on Android, and it's shaking up the traditional KEMCO formula with its gritty, old-school dungeon crawler vibe. This isn't your typical turn-based JRPG; it's a deep dive into a lost world where survival is the name of the game.
Seek the Truth of a Lost World
In Metro Quester – Hack & Slash, you lead a crew of scavengers on a desperate quest to gather resources before your weekly food quota runs dry. The key number to remember? 100. You need to secure 100 food units every seven in-game days to keep your team alive.
Your journey takes you deep into monster-infested ruins, scavenging through areas like Otemachi and Ginza for any leftovers you can find. But remember, you can't level up until you return to a safe camp, provided you've survived the perils and gathered enough resources.
With 24 unique characters to choose from, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes, you have the freedom to customize your combo skills, weapons, and strategies. Every ability you use consumes action points, and you're limited to five points per turn with only one use per ability each round. Strategic planning is crucial.
As you explore the dungeon, it unfolds before you. You might uncover food buried in the dirt, stumble into monster nests, pick up keys to unlock new areas, or even find a campground to establish a new base.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android
The game's aesthetic is deliberately minimalistic, with a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your vibrant team. Curious about how it looks? Check out the trailer below.
For those who crave more after the main story, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash offers a NEW GAME+ mode, perfect for those who enjoy replaying with increased difficulty.
You can grab Metro Quester – Hack & Slash on Android for $14.99. Note that it doesn't support game controllers and is available only in English and Japanese. Head over to the Google Play Store to get your copy.
