Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Update 1.2 Adds Steam Workshop, New Features

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Receives Major 1.2 Update Featuring Steam Workshop Support

Warhorse Studios has launched a substantial free update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, marking version 1.2. This patch brings two major improvements: direct Steam Workshop mod support and an all-new barber shop feature.

Seamless Mod Integration

The Steam Workshop implementation streamlines mod management by allowing direct downloads and installations within the game client. While currently featuring a modest selection, the available mods include:

  • Unlimited Saves: Auto-replenishes Savior Schnapps items for save flexibility
  • Henry's Horned Helm: Adds a historically-inspired armored helmet
  • Tourist Mode: Disables trespassing restrictions for exploration
  • Zebra Steed: Transforms your horse with distinctive stripes

The modding community is expected to expand this catalog rapidly, with many Nexus Mods creators likely to cross-publish their work.

New Barbering System

Players can now visit barbers in Rattay and Kuttenberg to customize Henry's hairstyle and facial hair. Every grooming session provides a temporary charisma boost, regardless of selected styles.

Comprehensive Game Improvements

The update delivers over 1,000 fixes and enhancements including:

  • Refined crime detection mechanics
  • More realistic NPC daily routines
  • Enhanced horse controls and trading systems
  • Visual upgrades focusing on Kuttenberg's performance
  • Optimized large-scale battle performance

Warhorse Studios will detail these changes during an upcoming developer livestream. The studio also announced plans for three paid DLC expansions throughout the year.

This update substantially enriches the medieval RPG experience through expanded mod support, character customization, and gameplay refinements.
