Go Lick The World Might Be the First Ever Current Affairs Clicker

by Dylan Mar 04,2025

It's a tough job preventing politicians from uttering gaffes. Take President Biden's infamous "go lick the world" comment, for instance – a moment that surely caused White House staff worldwide to collectively groan. This very phrase inspired the satirical mobile game, Go Lick The World, from Pixel Play.

Go Lick The World cleverly blends the absurdity of current events with the addictive simplicity of a clicker game. The objective? Virtually lick the globe as rapidly as possible (using your finger, of course!). The spinning 3D Earth is surrounded by a variety of tappable objects. Each tap earns points, leading to leaderboard supremacy.

Boost your score and unlock achievements by tapping LickLink satellites (a playful nod to Starlink), F35 jets, red electric cars, and even Lick Force One, President Biden's aircraft. On Earth, you'll find humorous landmarks like the White House, Antarctica, the Great Pyramids, and a less-than-pristine San Francisco.

The game's quirky charm extends to its ever-changing daily objects: Impeach-Mints on Mondays, tacos on Tuesdays, Swifties on Saturdays, and pizza slices for Pizzagate enthusiasts.

Unlockable Earth skins and accessories add another layer of fun, including a "clown world" face, various hats (trucker hats, Uncle Sam, a Texas cowboy hat with a censored border sign), solar eclipse glasses, and more, obtainable through rewarded ads. A recent update, "The Great Debate Update," even introduced a certain prominent figure's iconic hairstyle.

Go Lick The World is free to download, with optional in-app purchases to remove ads, enable auto-clicking (introducing LickGPT!), and acquire a coveted blue profile tick. Download it now on the App Store and Google Play Store.

UPDATE: The Great Debate Update includes trucker hats representing both political sides and, notably, Trump's hair.
