Ludus Merge Arena Reaches 5M Players, Adds Clan Wars

Since its launch in October 2023, Ludus: Merge Arena has rapidly gained traction, now boasting over 5 million global players and nearly $3 million in monthly revenue. Publisher Top App Games is capitalizing on this momentum by preparing a major content update.

The Big Update: Clan Wars

Scheduled for late March, this significant expansion introduces enhanced clan mechanics with three new features: a Clan Shop, Clan Battle Pass, and the headline addition—Clan War. These monthly competitive events span eight days, featuring five days of intense battles followed by a three-day conclusion period.

The conflict revolves around capturing flags—each player receives two by default, while premium subscribers start with three. Combined with Battle Pass bonuses (up to two additional flags), dedicated players can deploy five flags per war.

Flags serve dual purposes in Ludus: Merge Arena: challenge random opponents in standard PvP matches or launch strategic attacks on enemy bases through the new Assault mode.

Each Clan War features six competing factions, with the top 100 clans earning exclusive prizes—including cosmetic upgrades and temporary golden clan name displays until the next season. The update also introduces a dedicated Clan Shop, where warriors can exchange war-earned currency for rewards.

For newcomers, Ludus: Merge Arena blends tactical RPG and deck-building mechanics. Players merge hero duplicates to unlock powerful abilities, then test their formations in real-time PvP combat, seasonal leagues, and special events.
