Magic: The Gathering's Next Set Is a Death Race, Here Are 2 New Cards

Aetherdrift, Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, features a multiverse death race. We have an exclusive preview of two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck.

Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon card, showcases the red-white color pairing. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond), it focuses on vehicle piloting. Its 3 power allows it to crew vehicles, and its activated ability creates Pilot tokens for additional crewing.

Count on Luck, a rare card, is a straightforward 3-mana enchantment. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and may play it that turn – a classic "impulse draw" effect, ideal for mono-red decks.

Finally, we show Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. First-Place Foils, shiny golden cards, are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box. All rares in the set, plus 10 full-art lands, receive this treatment.
