The last major Baldur's Gate III patch entered the stress test stage

Baldur's Gate III's eighth and potentially final major patch is undergoing its stress test. While some Sony console players received early access, players who haven't already participated are advised to reinstall the game for optimal testing.

Patch 8 introduces highly anticipated cross-platform play between PC and consoles, facilitated through linked Larian accounts. This crossplay extends even to modded games, provided all mods used are compatible across PC, Mac, and consoles, and the host's installation doesn't exceed ten mods.

Xbox Series S users will be thrilled with the addition of split-screen co-op, a feature previously unavailable on this platform.

Further enhancements include a fully customizable photo mode and twelve new subclasses, adding depth and replayability. Bug fixes and balancing adjustments have also been implemented, though some issues may persist. A comprehensive changelog is available on the game's official website.
