Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic and the Fantastic Four Arrive

Marvel Rivals is gearing up for its Season 1 launch, "Eternal Night Falls," on January 10th at 1 AM PST, bringing with it Mister Fantastic and the rest of the Fantastic Four. The initial reveal showcases Mister Fantastic's intellect-driven combat against Dracula.

Mister Fantastic's gameplay features elastic limb manipulation for powerful attacks, including grabbing and slamming multiple enemies. He can also inflate his body for enhanced strength, reminiscent of the Hulk. His ultimate ability involves repeated powerful slams onto the enemy team, similar to The Winter Soldier's style. While speculation abounds regarding a potential Season 1 bonus for the Fantastic Four, this remains unconfirmed.

The Invisible Woman will join Mister Fantastic at Season 1's launch. Human Torch and The Thing are expected to follow approximately six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games has confirmed that each three-month season will include a significant mid-season update.

Leaked information hints at Human Torch's abilities, including flame wall creation for battlefield control and the potential for devastating fire tornadoes in conjunction with Storm. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard-class character, though his abilities remain undisclosed.

While rumors circulated about Blade and Ultron joining the game, NetEase Games has clarified that the Fantastic Four will be the sole new characters in Season 1. This suggests a potential Season 2 or later debut for Ultron, a surprise to some considering initial expectations. The absence of Blade, a notable Dracula adversary, is also noteworthy.
