Marvel Unveils Malice and Unveils Path to Acquire Invisible Woman Skin
The Marvel Rivals Season 1 launch has generated significant buzz, largely due to a highly anticipated Sue Storm skin: Malice. This guide explains Malice's comic book origins and how to obtain the skin in Marvel Rivals.
Malice in Marvel Comics
Multiple characters have borne the Malice moniker in Marvel Comics. While some are minor villains, the version featured in Marvel Rivals is an alternate personality of Sue Storm, similar to the Hulk's relationship with Bruce Banner.
Emerging after a traumatic miscarriage, Malice is awakened by the villain Psycho-Man, causing chaos for the Fantastic Four. Though Sue, aided by Reed Richards, eventually regains control, Malice resurfaces during the Fantastic Four's quest for the Infinity Gems with the Silver Surfer. This storyline significantly impacted Sue's character arc, even inspiring an adaptation in the 1990s Fantastic Four animated series ("World Within Worlds").

Acquiring the Malice Invisible Woman Skin
NetEase Games clearly favored Malice's design, incorporating her into Marvel Rivals. This skin will be released alongside Invisible Woman herself, as part of the Season 1 update on January 10th, 2025.
Currently, the exact cost of the Malice skin (in Lattice) remains undisclosed. However, judging by previous skin prices, 2,400 Lattice is a reasonable estimate. Keep in mind that skins often go on sale, so delaying the purchase until a potential price drop might be beneficial.
It's crucial to note that the Malice skin won't be part of the Season 1 Battle Pass. While ten other costumes are unlockable via the Battle Pass, none are alternate styles for Fantastic Four members.
This concludes our guide on Malice and how to obtain her skin in Marvel Rivals.
