Metaphor: ReFantazio Manga Releases First Chapter

The highly anticipated manga adaptation of Atlus' Metaphor: ReFantazio has arrived! Chapter one is now available for free on MANGA Plus. This collaboration between Atlus and Shueisha features artwork by Yōichi Amano (known for Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden and Stealth Symphony).

Experience Will's journey in a visually stunning manga format. While largely faithful to the game's core narrative, the manga takes creative liberties, altering the initial storyline. Key differences include the omission of a starting area, the introduction of new events, and a revised portrayal of the protagonist's encounters with his allies. Importantly, the manga officially confirms the protagonist's name as Will, aligning with the game's default option.

The next chapter is scheduled for release on February 19th, simultaneously with the Japanese version.

Developed by Studio Zero (headed by Katsura Hashino, the visionary behind the Persona series), this Atlus IP follows Will and his fairy companion, Gallica, as they embark on a quest to save the prince of Euchronia. The king's assassination plunges the kingdom into chaos, leading to a unique succession plan: a leader chosen by the people. Will finds himself thrust into a larger-than-life adventure.

The game achieved phenomenal success, selling over one million copies globally on its launch day, surpassing even Persona 3: Reload's record.
