Minecraft Movie to Feature Exclusive Popcorn Bucket

by Sebastian Mar 29,2025

Remember themed popcorn buckets? Of course you do. Well, there’s more where those came from. The upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the consumer trend with its own concessions novelties available during its theatrical run.

According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, alongside a chicken jockey drink container, a treat for fans in the know. These items will be exclusive to the Cinemark chain of theaters in the United States. While other theaters may have their own plans for Minecraft fans, we'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that became a national hit starting with the 2019 Rise of Skywalker R2-D2 popcorn bucket. The viral success of that snack container over six years ago inspired theater executives to see the potential in these fun, albeit somewhat overdone and pricey, modern theatrical traditions. If it encourages more people to enjoy the cinema experience, I’m all for it.
