Monopoly Unveils Valentine's Day Update with New Rules and Quiz

A special Valentine’s Day update has arrived for Monopoly on Android and iOS, bringing a touch of romance to your favorite digital board game. Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have teamed up to deliver a series of limited-time events designed to celebrate love in creative ways.

Get ready to test your romantic spirit with a new quiz that matches you with one of four Monopoly tokens, each symbolizing a different form of love. For a limited time, you'll have the chance to try out your matched token for free. If you fall for its charm, you can purchase it later at a discounted rate.

Speed up your gameplay with revamped House Rules that add a fresh twist to the classic Monopoly experience. The Quick Hotels rule lets you build three houses instead of four, while Quick End ends the game after the first bankruptcy. Quick Jail allows you to leave jail on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds grants everyone three random properties at the start. Tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces will be skipped, ensuring a faster-paced session.

To enhance the Valentine’s theme, a new set of Cupid-inspired tokens joins the lineup. The Sweethearts bundle also features two cherubs ready to join the board this February.
