Monster Hunter Now: Season 5

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises a thrilling update packed with new content. Before the main event, get ready for the early arrival of the Chatacabra on February 28th, making its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

This season focuses on improving gameplay balance. Weapons receive significant tweaks, enhancing the viability and enjoyment of each type. The Sword & Shield gets a buff for easier tail targeting, while the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) now rewards precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill also receives a much-needed upgrade, with higher skill levels now providing noticeable damage reduction when blocking. Further balance adjustments will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Beyond combat enhancements, Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will add a generous 250 extra slots.

A significant addition arrives on March 17th, celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary: a new material exchange system. Hunters can trade special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
