Contrary to what the trophy description might suggest about dragons or wyverns, your real target is the Curioshell Crab. You'll need to use your Capture Net to snag this elusive creature.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be challenging as it's scattered across various maps. Our most successful strategy has been to head to the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and navigate to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, located between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you're at the Flowering Rocks, check the nearby water puddle, a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma can assist by pointing out if a creature nearby is holding something, indicating the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim at the crab until the reticle turns orange, and shoot to capture it. Success here will net you not only the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

The Curioshell Crab is known for its swift movement, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to secure your catch. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Keep in mind, the crab can appear in other map areas too, but these are the spots we've tested and confirmed.
