Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Gets Early April Release Date, Adds an Endgame Hub for Players to Gather

by Isabella Mar 21,2025

Capcom has unveiled early details for Monster Hunter Wilds’ first major patch, slated for early April. Following the game's launch, Title Update 1, detailed in a Steam post, will arrive a little over a month later. Capcom assures players this timeframe allows ample preparation for the upcoming challenges.

Title Update 1 introduces a significant challenge: a monster exceeding even the formidable strength of Tempered foes. Prepare your gear and steel your resolve! Alongside this powerful adversary, a new challenging monster will also be added.

Interestingly, the update also introduces a much-requested endgame gathering hub. This new location, accessible after completing the main story, will provide hunters with a place to meet, communicate, share meals, and socialize. It's a welcome addition for those seeking a more social endgame experience.

Initial reactions to this new social space have been mixed, with some celebrating its inclusion while others question its absence at launch. While resembling the Gathering Hubs from previous Monster Hunter titles, Capcom has opted for a different name. The lack of a dedicated social hub in Monster Hunter Wilds has been noted, and this new area is hoped to address that.

Capcom released several images showcasing this new gathering space:
