Dogs are the ultimate companions in video games, and *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is no exception. Henry's loyal dog, Mutt, goes missing early in the story, but don't worry—here's a detailed guide on how to find Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location

Finding Mutt involves a dedicated side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, but I'll help you get straight to the point. Mutt can be found near a wolf cave located southwest of the Nomads’ Camp and just east of the bathing spot at the river. Below is a screenshot to guide you to his exact location.

The simplest route to reach Mutt is to fast travel to the Nomads’ Camp, then follow the path southwest into the forest. This will lead you directly to the top of the cave. As you get closer, listen for Mutt's whining to guide you. Approach the sound, and you'll discover Mutt and a few wolves in a clearing near the cave.

Approaching the cave will trigger a cutscene where you'll encounter Mutt alongside a pack of wolves. This scene also serves as a tutorial on how to give Mutt commands during battles. You can choose to either fight the wolves or flee. Fortunately, wolves and wild animals in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* are manageable opponents, making it a good opportunity to hone your combat skills.

After handling the wolves, Mutt will be at your command. You can interact with him by holding L1 and looking at him, allowing you to feed him from your inventory or send him back to your home.

Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest

It's worth noting that you're likely to come across the wolf cave while engaged in the Invaders side quest, particularly if you interact with the Cumans. After getting drunk with them, Henry will follow Vasko up the hill to fetch more liquor, leading directly to the cave. This will trigger the cutscene with Mutt and the wolves, and you'll need to deal with them while inebriated.

I strongly suggest taking care of the wolves during the day before progressing further with the Invaders quest. Fighting or fleeing from wolves while drunk and in the dark is incredibly challenging, and attempting to escape in such conditions could lead to a fatal fall.

And that’s how to find Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
