Nintendo's Surprise: An Interactive Alarm Clock and a Mysterious Switch Online Playtest

The Alarmo's unique selling point? It uses a radio wave sensor to detect movement. Unlike camera-based solutions, it prioritizes privacy, working even in dark rooms or with obstacles. Developer Tetsuya Akama highlights its sensitivity to subtle movements.

Initially, US and Canadian Nintendo Switch Online members can purchase the Alarmo via the My Nintendo Store, before a wider release. The Nintendo New York store also offers in-person purchases.
