Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., Priced at $449
Nintendo has exciting news for fans eagerly awaiting the next generation of their beloved console: pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will officially open in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The original pricing of $449.99 and the launch date of June 5 will remain unchanged, providing a solid timeframe for gamers to plan their purchases.
This announcement was made on Nintendo's official website, where they also disclosed that Switch 2 accessories may see price adjustments due to evolving market conditions. Nintendo emphasized that future price adjustments could apply to any of their products, depending on market dynamics.
In addition to the base console's consistent pricing, Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will stay priced at $499.99. The pricing for both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World at $79.99 and Donkey Kong Bananza at $69.99 will also remain the same at launch.
