Overwatch 2 Teams Up with LE SSERAFIM Again: New Skins, Emotes, Challenges

Overwatch 2 is set to reignite its exciting partnership with the popular K-pop group LE SSERAFIM, bringing fans an array of new content and experiences. Mark your calendars for March 18, 2025, as this collaboration aligns perfectly with the release of LE SSERAFIM's highly anticipated album, "Hot." This event follows their successful first collaboration in November 2023, celebrating the release of "Perfect Night." The excitement was officially confirmed through a captivating trailer shared on Twitter (X) on March 11, following an announcement during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.

LE SSERAFIM Returns to Overwatch 2 with New Skins, Emotes, and In-Game Challenges

This time around, Overwatch 2 players can look forward to new skins for heroes Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of skins from the 2023 collaboration, featuring LE SSERAFIM-inspired looks for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte, will be available for purchase. However, the unique Concert Clash mode, which was a highlight of the first collaboration tied to "Perfect Night," will not make a return. Instead, players can earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by participating in and completing event-specific challenges.

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that's celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She highlighted that, although there won't be a new song specifically for Overwatch, the team is thrilled to celebrate K-pop culture through a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album and an extensive range of cosmetics for the collaboration.

The second collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To kick things off, an Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available to watch on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will offer fans a closer look at the new skins and feature appearances by LE SSERAFIM members.
