Parallel Experiment's Steam Release Delayed to June, Syncs with Mobile Versions

by Jacob Apr 18,2025

The eagerly awaited cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment, from Eleven Puzzles, faced some unexpected delays, pushing back its original Steam launch date from March to June 5th. This means fans can now look forward to diving into the game's intriguing adventure on both PC and mobile platforms simultaneously, including Android and iOS versions.

Initially, the developers considered scaling back on optional puzzles, additional mechanics, and even the mobile version to meet the original deadline. However, the decision to release all versions at the same time is a boon for players, especially with crossplay functionality available from the start.

In Parallel Experiment, you and a partner step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, who find themselves ensnared in a sinister experiment masterminded by the Cryptic Killer. The only way to progress is through solving a series of interdependent puzzles that demand teamwork and communication.

With over 80 challenges, players will tackle tasks ranging from deciphering ciphers and redirecting water flows to hacking computers and rousing a drunk. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book art style enhance the immersive experience, drawing you into a gripping race against time.

Parallel Experiment Gameplay

The investigation isn't solely about solving high-stakes puzzles. Between challenges, you can engage your partner in retro-style mini-games like darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, each with a cooperative twist.

Interactive dialogues add depth to the mystery, with NPCs responding dynamically to both detectives. And for a bit of fun, each level offers ways to playfully annoy your partner, such as knocking on windows, shaking their screen, or doodling in your detective notebook.

Boasting five times the content of their previous project, Parallel Experiment promises to elevate your cooperative gameplay experience. Mark your calendars for the June 5th launch and visit the Steam page for more details.
