First Announcement From Western Account

Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is gearing up for a global expansion, as evidenced by the launch of a dedicated social media account for its English version. On May 15, P5X Official West announced a major livestream event scheduled for the same day at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus' official western YouTube channel. This stream could potentially reveal the release date for the English version of the game.

The livestream promises to be a star-studded affair, featuring special guests such as Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by key figures from the development team, including P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, Development Producer Jun Matsunaga, and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

P5X initially launched in selected regions in April 2024. There's speculation that the Western release date will be announced during the upcoming stream, especially since the developers hinted at English localization plans during the game's first anniversary livestream. The official account has teased that while the release date for Japan will definitely be announced, fans should stay tuned to learn about the Western release.

In addition to the English version, the livestream will provide more details about P5X’s Japanese (JP) release. During the game's first anniversary celebration, Atlus announced that P5X will launch in Japan during Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are now open on the JP website.

Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company, mentioned in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12 that P5X is scheduled to release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), targeting a launch this summer.
