Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered
Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium’s pity system: Does it carry over between banners?
Sunborn's Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question among players is whether the pity counter transfers between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Your pity counter and pulls on one limited-time banner will carry over to the next limited-time banner. During the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners demonstrated this. Pity progress accumulated on either banner, allowing players to strategically switch between them to maximize their chances of obtaining a desired character. This carryover applies to all future limited banners.
However, it's crucial to understand that this pity system does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot stockpile pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner.
While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity mechanic begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one increase incrementally until reaching hard pity at 80.
To summarize: Pity carries over between consecutive limited banners in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, but not between limited and standard banners. Remember that soft pity begins at 58 pulls. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
