Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!

Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the specifics.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three global cities across different dates in May and June 2025:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses for trainers worldwide. In-person events feature unique city-specific experiences and require ticket purchases. Expect rare Pokémon encounters not available through standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-based spawns.

In-person attendees can also look forward to exclusive merchandise, habitat-themed collections, community hubs, and team lounges for socializing with fellow trainers. While specifics are still under wraps, expect a similar format to previous years' events.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January 2025

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two more exciting events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over: Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12 km Eggs. Other Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig will appear. Keep an eye out for a fashionably dressed Croagunk in snapshots!

• Dates: January 15th, 2025, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 2025, 8:00 pm (local time)

Shadow Raid Day: Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh encounters are boosted, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
