Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event will take place in Los Angeles, California (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City, Taiwan (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) showcasing Unova region Pokémon.

Expect:

• Shiny Pokémon Encounters: Shiny Meloetta (via Masterwork Research), Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others (hatching), and Shiny Pikachu with unique hats (Field Research). Shiny Deerling variations will depend on habitat and time of day.
• Raids: Five-Star Raids featuring Reshiram and Zekrom; Three-Star Raids with Druddigon; and One-Star Raids with Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (increased shiny rates).
• Ticket Add-ons: Enhance your experience with add-ons offering bonuses like extra XP.
• Event Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST for Los Angeles, GMT+8 for New Taipei City).
• Ticket Prices: $25 USD (Los Angeles), $630 NT (New Taipei City).

A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will follow on March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event will be held in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee to unravel a Pokémon mystery!

Highlights:

• Special Eevee: Receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee at the start. Evolving it retains the hat. Complete the Eevee Explorers Expedition for a second hatted Eevee.
• Pokémon Encounters: Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more in the wild. Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo will be available from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon encounters will also occur.
• Souvenirs: Pikachu or Eevee visors (while supplies last).
• Ticket Prices: $10 USD (Hong Kong), R$45 (São Paulo).
• Ticket Add-ons: Available for additional items and increased shiny encounter chances.
