As we anticipate the arrival of Tinkatink, Fighting-type Pokémon are stepping into the spotlight for the Sparring Partners Raid Day, arriving in Pokémon Go on April 13th. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, you'll have a focused three-hour period to test your battling skills, hunt for Shiny Pokémon, and challenge some of the most formidable fighters in the Pokéworld.

The Sparring Partners Raid Day begins with Mega Heracross entering Mega Raids, ready for action. Hariyama and Scraggy also join the fray, appearing in standard raids with an increased chance of being Shiny. It's an all-out Fighting-type celebration, so be sure to assemble your strongest counters.

Beyond the raids, this event introduces a new Charged Attack: Upper Hand. In Trainer Battles, it deals 70 power and may lower your opponent's Defense. For raids and gyms, it provides a solid 50-power hit. This versatile move could be the key to securing victory.

You can also take advantage of special event bonuses. Receive up to six free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs. Additionally, for this weekend only, the daily Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20, offering more opportunities to participate in raids from a distance.
