Pokémon TCG Pocket: Trade Feature & New Expansion Incoming

Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket players! Exciting updates are on the horizon, bringing highly anticipated features and a brand-new expansion. Trading is finally arriving, allowing you to swap cards with friends, and the Space-Time Smackdown expansion is dropping soon, adding a wealth of new cards and features.

Pokémon TCG Pocket: Space-Time Smackdown & Trading Arrival

Trading arrives in Pokémon TCG Pocket on January 29th, 2025, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th. This update also introduces stylish new covers for your digital binder and display board, featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.

The long-awaited trading feature requires two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Initially, only cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions (rarity levels 1-4 and ★1) will be tradeable, with more expansions added in future updates.

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region, introducing two new booster packs featuring the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, along with fresh card artwork. Lucario, and the beloved Sinnoh starter Pokémon—Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup—also join the roster. For a detailed look at everything coming in this update, watch the video below:
