Botany Manor's PlayStation Launch Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This follows a short delay announced by publisher Whitethorn Games to allow for further polishing and optimization.

Originally launched in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly gained recognition as a top-tier puzzle game, earning widespread praise for its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration. The game's strong OpenCritic rating (83/100, 92% recommendation) underscores its quality.

While a PlayStation release date was initially set for December 17th, a last-minute delay was implemented to ensure the best possible player experience. Whitethorn Games confirmed the new January 28th launch date on January 9th. However, a PS Store page remains absent, meaning pre-ordering or wishlisting isn't yet possible.

The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other platforms and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated.

Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor's arrival significantly enhances the PlayStation puzzle game library, adding a highly-rated and charming title to the console's growing collection. Once released on the PlayStation Store, the game will be available on all initially planned platforms.

Balloon Studios, the London-based developer, has yet to announce its next project. Botany Manor joins other notable January 28th PlayStation releases including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
