Rainbow Six Siege X Unveiled
Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Siege X on February 17, 2025, marking a new era for the 9-year-old game with substantial gameplay upgrades and refinements. The full scope of these changes will be revealed during the Rainbow Six Siege X showcase.
Rainbow Six Siege Showcase in March 2025
The Rainbow Six Siege X showcase is set for March 13, 2025, at 10:00 am (PDT) / 1:00 pm (EDT) in Atlanta, Georgia. This event will highlight the transformative updates coming to the game. Ubisoft describes it as "an immersive and one-of-a-kind Siege experience," bringing together players, creators, and developers to unveil the evolutions of Siege X and more surprises.
For those eager to attend in person, tickets are available for USD $10, which includes an exclusive long-sleeve shirt and an in-game cosmetic pack. However, attendees must meet the following eligibility requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years old

Additionally, Ubisoft is offering VIP packages for two lucky fans, including a hotel stay, roundtrip flight, and entry to the Showcase event. This giveaway is also limited to legal residents of the USA and Canada.

Rainbow Six Siege Upcoming 10th Year Anniversary
Originally launched on December 1, 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Rainbow Six Siege has since been ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2020. The game has seen continuous updates, cementing its status as one of the longest-running live-service shooter games across multiple platforms. The major update with Siege X could further extend the longevity of the Rainbow Six franchise.
In a Steam post dated February 17, 2025, Ubisoft introduced a new operator, Aurora, who can deploy bulletproof doors. Alongside this, a new elite skin for operator Aruni and a new reputation system that rewards or penalizes players based on their in-game behavior will be introduced. These features will launch in Season 1 of the game's 10th year, dubbed Operation Prep Phase, on March 4, 2025, in celebration of the game's 10th anniversary.
Given the timing of Season 10's launch and the showcase for Rainbow Six Siege X, it appears that the major upgrades will be implemented on the live servers at a later date.
