"Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed: First Global Collab with Ezio"
Back in January, Bluepoch Games announced an exciting collaboration that has now been fully detailed. The Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover is set to launch in August 2025 on Android, iOS, and PC, bringing the iconic Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin's Creed into the game as a playable character. This collaboration with Ubisoft will focus on two beloved entries in the Assassin's Creed series: Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. A teaser released earlier this year showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street with the glowing Assassin's Creed logo appearing in the distance, setting the stage for what's to come.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The crossover event is structured into two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin's Creed-themed stories and events. In Phase I, players will dive into the world of Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will explore 15th-century Italy, following cryptic clues and immersing themselves in the rich historical setting. Phase II will transport players to ancient Greece, specifically the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, where familiar events and landscapes from the game will intertwine with Reverse: 1999's narrative.
Check out the crossover trailer below to get a glimpse of what's in store:
It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all servers worldwide are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously. Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. After these storms hit, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to travel through different points in time to rescue other arcanists sensitive to these shifts.
If you haven't yet experienced the unique gameplay of Reverse: 1999, you can check it out on the Google Play Store. And don't forget to read our news on Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade Global's Half-Year Anniversary for more gaming updates.
