TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with addictive roguelite mechanics, promising endless replayability. The Steam page highlights key features including 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 unique playable characters, and over 130 monsters to collect and battle. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release will coincide with the Steam and Switch versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, the gameplay described for Coromon: Rogue Planet sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short, engaging play sessions. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your initial thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
