A 2026 Release

Saros, the latest project from Housemarque, made its debut at the February 2025 State of Play. This PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive is slated for release sometime in 2026. Building upon the thrilling gameplay of their acclaimed title Returnal, Saros introduces a new narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

Come Back Stronger

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct IP. Saros will iterate on Returnal's compelling storytelling and mechanics, but with a key difference: permanent and evolving loadouts. Players will build upon their weapons and suits, embracing the "Come Back Stronger" philosophy to overcome challenges and ultimately triumph.
