Expecting a typical 30-second video message, the fan was instead gifted with over six minutes of heartfelt encouragement from Conroy. Moved by the fan's story of how the game's narrative about overcoming fear, paranoia, and hallucinations resonated with his own struggles, Conroy went beyond a standard response to offer profound support and understanding.

The fan shared his experience on Reddit, explaining how the game's ending inspired him and how Conroy's personalized video became a lifeline during his darkest moments. "This video has saved me from suicide countless times," he wrote. "Hearing Batman say he believed in me was incredibly powerful... But as time went on, it became just as important that it was Kevin himself who believed in me."

Initially hesitant to share the video publicly, the fan decided to post it after learning that Conroy had a brother who also suffered from schizophrenia. He hoped that sharing the message could offer solace and inspiration to others facing similar challenges. "If someone in his family asks me to delete this video, I will of course do so," he stated.
