TLOU Season 4 Unlikely, Says Showrunner Mazin
The critically acclaimed TV adaptation of The Last of Us secured a Season 3 renewal before Season 2 premiered. But what about Season 4? Showrunner Craig Mazin suggests a fourth season would be crucial for completing the saga.
A Fourth Season Seems Inevitable
In an interview with Collider, Mazin acknowledged that condensing the remaining story from Naughty Dog’s two games into Season 3 would make the season "impossibly long." While Season 3 may be extended compared to Season 2, he confirmed "there’s simply no way to conclude this narrative in just three seasons."
He elaborated: "Assuming audiences stick with us, we’ll most likely need a fourth season to properly finish the story. That currently seems like the logical conclusion."
