Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are throwing a fantastic 25th-anniversary party for The Sims franchise by bringing back The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 to PC! Both games are now available individually or together in the "The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle" for $40.

The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection offer comprehensive packages. Each includes nearly all expansion and stuff packs—The Sims 2 collection is missing only the IKEA Home Stuff pack. Bonus content sweetens the deal, with The Sims 1 receiving a "Throwback Fit Kit" and The Sims 2 getting a "Grunge Revival Kit."

PlayThis marks a significant return for these classic titles. The Sims 1 was originally a disc-only release, making it inaccessible to many without a physical copy and compatibility workarounds. While The Sims 2 was previously available through an Ultimate Collection, that version was later removed from EA's Origin store. Now, all four main Sims games are readily available digitally.

Our original reviews lauded The Sims 1 (9.5/10) and The Sims 2 (8.5/10) for their charm, simplicity, and unique challenges. Despite the series' evolution, the originals remain worthwhile experiences, offering a nostalgic and engaging gameplay experience.

Grab your copies of The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection today on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
