Sky: Children of the Light hosts creator awards show

Sky: Children of the Light prepares to celebrate six years with a special in-game awards ceremony honoring its creative community.

Ten distinct awards will recognize outstanding community creators as TGC transforms Aviary Village into a festive anniversary hub.

Commencing July 7th, Aviary Village will become a vibrant pre-show celebration space featuring swimming areas, dance floors, and parade routes. An immersive cinema will broadcast developer insights and exclusive behind-the-scenes content continuously.

The main awards ceremony begins August 15th at 6 PM PT in this virtual theater, designed to host hundreds simultaneously. Thatgamecompany developers will personally present honors across ten creative categories.

Honoring Outstanding Contributions

The ten category awards are accompanied by two prestigious honors: The Sky Community Award and Content of the Year distinction. Winners will receive virtual stage time to address the live audience.
